Proper Nail Care

There are several types of manicures. Classic manicure is well-known to everyone. In this case, the cuticle is removed after a warm soak. European manicure is gentler on the nails. The cuticle is softened with a special solution and is not removed but pushed back with a wooden stick or a tool with a rubber (plastic) tip.
After treating the cuticle, the nails are shaped, and nail polish is applied. First, a base coat must be applied. This coat appears colorless and transparent on the nails (even if it looks slightly tinted in the bottle). The base coat protects the nails, strengthens them with vitamins and microelements, helps the main polish adhere better, and increases its durability.
After the base coat, the main color is applied, followed by a clear strengthening topcoat. Experts recommend using a base coat even when you’re not painting your nails to protect them. Frequent contact with household chemicals can significantly damage the nails.
If you want your nails to stay healthy, never use cheap nail polishes from unknown manufacturers.
Acetone-based nail polish removers can damage your nails. It’s preferable to use gentle, protective removers without acetone, with added plant extracts.
Nail care should be done once a week. Whether you do a manicure at home or in a beauty salon, it is important to know what can harm your nails.
• Do not file nails immediately after soaking, as this procedure makes them soft and brittle.
• Always prioritize the quality of nail care products.
• Avoid using hard metal nail files for natural nails. Experts recommend using diamond-coated nail files.
• Do not cut dry nails with clippers.
• Do not roughly cut the cuticle. It is responsible for the health of the nail.
